What is your “why”?
What gets you excited to do what you do? Do you love it, does it challenge you, does it make you grow, does it challenge you to think bigger, does it make you better, does it make the world a better place?
Personally I am very clear on my professional “why” and in addition I absolutely love what I do, I realize I have created something for myself that I am so excited for and something I can never see myself not doing.
Yesterday morning I was reminded of the even greater “why” for me, which starts in my private life – It starts with my girls. My “why” is closely integrated in my work and life and for this reminder, and for adding a silver lining to my day – I couldn’t be more grateful!
It was during breakfast, my one daughter turned to me and spontaneously said: “I’m the luckiest to have you be my mom”. My heart was full! Later that afternoon she fell ill and while struggling with pain she says through tears “Did I tell you I’m the luckiest to have you?” No love, I am the luckiest to have YOU!! #daughters #love #kind #thoughtful #mymunchkin
I do it for me, to be able to do more for them. To expand their world and be able to grow, inspire and explore together. To create something that will have an impact in this world, to be able to leave footprints, if ever so tiny, of positive change. This is my “why”, what is yours?
