Why Coaching in the Workplace?

“Corporations believe that coaching helps keep valuable employees, and that the dollar investment in it is far less than the cost of replacing an employee.” -David A. Thomas, Fitzhugh, Professor of Business Administration, Harvard Business School

Organizational coaching helps executives fully realize their personal and professional goals through enhanced performance, improved decision-making, and increased productivity. As your coach I provide insight, accountability, offer new skills and concepts. An important aspect that I bring, is the cutting edge work; helping businesses immeasurably with their abilities to help integrate the next generation leaders into their success. Successfully aiding in culture, engagement and employee retention!

Being a native Swede and a US resident for the past 20 years, I have gathered emotional intelligence of highly functional environments and cultures from both places and incorporated that information into my coaching. I work with my clients to break their limiting patterns. My coaching approach is equally informed by concepts and tools from behavioral science and humanistic psychology: I have combined techniques and learning resources that proved valuable to my clients and consequently Inspiring Result!

Recent research shows:

  • 2/3 of today’s Employees feel “overwhelmed.” The concepts of work-life balance have been lost thanks to a proliferation of technology and the breakdown in barriers between work and life.
  • 79% of Organizations believe they have a significant retention and engagement problem.
  • The UN “World Happiness Report,” shows that the happiest countries (Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Sweden) are those with some of the best reputations for work-life balance. I like to think of it as a highly functioning & healthy integration! Businesses in these countries are quite successful and they have learned to build work environments which are humanistic and let people think.

Extraordinary

Coaching delivers where training solutions hit their limits. Like no other leadership development tool, it can take individual strengths and challenges, blind-spots, and habitual patterns into consideration to maximize communication, growth and learning.

Your Return-on-investment (ROI):
Organizational and corporate coaching directly impacts your company’s bottom line results. With reduced turnover, increased engagement, and stronger performance you’ll easily maximize the return on investment in your most talented people.

The companies that succeed in today’s climate are implementing innovative new performance management models and improve their talent solutions. Companies leading this transformation are redefining the way they set goals and evaluate performance, focusing heavily on coaching.

Executive Coaching – making no assumptions about what the client needs to function successfully. Instead, working from the executive’s agenda to help the client accelerate the development of the insight needed to deliver the desired change, whether that’s enhanced communication, time management, building high performance teams, or some other area of focus. Self-reliance, and not dependency, is the goal. What other investments in professional development do you know of that provide an average client-reported ROI of somewhere between 340 to 700%? The reasons for such high returns are clear: leadership matters. A lot. As your coach, my top priority is your success and well-being, and my job is to be in your corner.

"A great benefit working with Charlotte is her ability to "politely challenge" ways in which I had previously limited my success. With direct, honest feedback and strategic interventions, I am performing greater than ever, hitting record sales!"

− Sales

"Charlotte’s coaching was invaluable. I learned to identify the barriers and key performance issues that have been holding me back. Charlotte was incredibly skilled at asking the tough questions that helped me see things from different perspectives, and he then held me accountable for achieving my goals. Charlotte is not only challenging and insightful, but also patient and understanding, with remarkable instincts and knowledge."

− Finance

"I initially didn’t understand or comprehend the need for a coach, I even frowned upon the suggestion from my upper management team. But as the old adage goes, "you don’t know what you don’t know". Charlotte Stichter gave me a different point of view. With her help, I was able to recognize where I could improve myself. I found balance in my work and home life. During my time with Charlotte, I was challenged to make a very difficult decision on my career and family. With her help, it became the easiest transition I have ever had in my career. My only regret is, I wish I had found Charlotte earlier in my career."

− Global Telecommunication

"Today I am a more flexible leader, empowering my team and ultimately getting more from them team with this modified approach. I have also improved in my communication style, interaction with peers and the client base across the organization. There are occasional flare ups here and there but 'WOW' what a difference. I am now catching myself before I go down the wrong path, reminding myself to slow down and let everyone else catch up. I can't thank you enough for the work you have done, looking forward to the results from working with the whole leadership team!"

− Non for Profit

"We are a growing global company, however attracting talent and retention has proven difficult, this is where we are loosing money. Since we brought Ms Stichter on-board to consult we have already noticed a change in our culture, greater satisfaction and communication across the board. Adjustments to the hiring process has proven to attract the right talent for us. We are only a few months into this process but very pleased with the results thus far. "
